My site shows a blank page after I deploy it

A blank white page after deploying usually means the page loaded but its scripts and styles did not. The common causes are the host publishing the wrong folder, file paths that only work on your own computer, and single-page sites that need a rule so every address loads the same page.

What to check

  1. Open the deployed site, press F12, open the Network tab and reload. Files ending in .js or .css marked 404 confirm it.
  2. Check the host's publish directory. For most exported projects it is the build output folder (often `dist` or `build`), not the project root.
  3. If the site lives in a sub-folder or on GitHub Pages, the build needs the matching base path.
  4. If the home page works and other addresses say "not found", the host needs a rule that sends every path to index.html.
  5. Build the site and preview that build on your own computer before uploading again.

Hand it over when

  • You do not know which folder is the build output.
  • The fix means editing configuration files you would rather not touch.
  • You have an export from an AI builder and simply want it live on an address of your own.

Or hand it to E2

S$8.99, one-time. Typical turnaround: Usually within one working day. Done means: site reachable at a URL over HTTPS; all pages load; assets not broken.

Questions people ask

Is this the same as my app breaking after I publish it?

No. A blank page is normally a static hosting problem and quick to fix. Errors after signing in, or data that does not save, are app problems.

Where does E2 publish it?

On E2's hosting at an address you can use straight away, or connected to a domain you already own.

What if my site has a login or a database?

Then it is not a static site and this fixed-price job does not cover it. Tell E2 and it is scoped as a quote.
