Privacy policy
Last updated 16 September 2026. Written in plain language; it is the policy, not a summary of one.
Who we are
E2 is operated by E2 (SylverTide), Singapore ("E2", "we"). Contact for anything in this policy: [email protected]. We handle personal data under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
What we collect
- Your email address, to send order links, updates and the result.
- The files and answers you send for a job, which may contain personal data about you or others (for example names on invoices).
- Order records: what you bought, when, the price, status history and messages about the order.
- Payment confirmation from our payment provider: amount, currency, a reference. Never your card number.
- Basic usage data: the pages you view and in what order, searches typed on this site, how you arrived (for example a search engine or a link you followed), your IP address, approximate country and device type. We use this to keep the site safe from abuse and to understand how people use it. Kept for 90 days, then deleted. No third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
What we use it for
- To do the job you paid for and deliver the result.
- To contact you about that order, including when we need something from you.
- To improve the Store: which problems people look for, where they get stuck, and whether results save time.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal data or files, do not use them for advertising, do not send marketing unless you separately opt in, and do not use your files to train AI models.
Free automatic previews
Free experiences marked “Automatic preview” process the source inside your browser. The source and result are not uploaded to E2. The Result Room is held only in the current tab, expires after 30 minutes, and is cleared when that tab is closed. E2 records only the outcome ID and anonymous started / completed event — never filenames, pasted text, source contents or result contents.
Who sees your files
E2 staff, only to complete your job, check the result, help you if something goes wrong, and meet our legal and accounting obligations; that access is logged. Where a job needs it, files may be processed by approved service providers, software or AI processors, solely to complete that job and under data-processing terms that forbid using your data for anything else, including training. E2 never puts customer files through personal or consumer AI accounts. Our payment provider sees your payment details, not your files.
Where and how long
Files and results are stored on private storage with no public web address. They are deleted 30 days after the order is completed, refunded or closed. You can delete your uploaded files earlier from your order page. Drafts you never pay for are deleted after 7 days. Sample files sent with a "Tell E2" request are deleted 30 days after E2 replies, and no later than 60 days after you sent them. Order records (without files) are kept for as long as accounting law requires. The words you type into the problem search are kept for 180 days to learn what people need, then blanked.
Cookies
Essential first-party cookies only: a session id that lets us see a visit as a sequence of pages, the source you arrived from, and a sign-in cookie for My E2 if you use it. No advertising cookies, and nothing is shared with advertising or analytics companies.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete files early. Email [email protected] from the address you ordered with, quoting your order reference.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date above changes and we say what changed.
16 September 2026: the "Basic usage data" item now says plainly that we record the order of pages you view, your IP address, approximate country and device type, what we use that for, and that it is deleted after 90 days. The "Cookies" item explains what the session id is for. Nothing else changed.
