Quick hand-off · Website & App

Set up my domain properly

A bounded DNS check-list: www/apex redirect, HTTPS, and email-sender authentication if you need it.

www and the bare (apex) domain redirecting correctly to each other.

Work taken off your plate

The DNS checklist most people do not know they need until email or HTTPS quietly breaks.

Use E2 when

  • Your domain half-works: www opens but the bare domain does not, or the padlock is missing.
  • You want DNS, www, HTTPS and redirects set up once, correctly.

Not the right fit when

  • Buying the domain
  • Building the site itself
  • Full email hosting or mailbox setup
  • DKIM/DMARC or multi-subdomain setups (Tell E2 for a quote)
01°   The hand-off

What you provide

  • Your domain name, its registrar, and where the site/email is currently hosted.
  • What www and the bare domain should do (redirect one way, or E2 recommends).
  • Whether you need an email-authentication (SPF) record.
  • An email address for the order link and confirmation.

02°   The result

What comes back

  • www and the bare (apex) domain redirecting correctly to each other.
  • A valid HTTPS certificate.
  • An SPF record added and verified, if you asked for one.
  • The records used, documented.
03°   The finish line

What counts as done

  • DNS
  • www↔apex redirect
  • HTTPS
  • one email-auth record (SPF) if asked

What's not included

Clear boundaries keep the outcome honest.

  • Buying the domain
  • Building the site itself
  • Full email hosting or mailbox setup
  • DKIM/DMARC or multi-subdomain setups (Tell E2 for a quote)
A concrete example

Questions people ask

What's the difference between this and 'Connect my domain'?

'Connect my domain' points a domain at a site for the first time. This SKU is for a domain that's already connected but needs its DNS checklist done properly (redirects, HTTPS, SPF).

What if I also need DKIM or DMARC?

Those are outside this fixed-price checklist — E2 will offer a Tell E2 quote for the fuller email-authentication set-up.

What if E2 cannot complete it?

E2 will tell you exactly what's blocking it (usually a registrar limitation) or handle it under the refund policy.

How long do you keep my details?

30 days after the job is done. Any temporary access you shared is never stored beyond the session.
