E2 Credits

How E2 Credits work.

A simple way to pay for small jobs without a card transaction every time. You never need credits to use E2: every outcome can still be paid for on its own.

What they are

E2 Credits are prepaid purchasing credit. You buy them with real money (1 credit = S$1 of E2 work) and spend them on E2 products and services. Prices are shown in Singapore dollars and are the same whether you pay by card, PayNow or credits.

What they are not

  • Not money, not a wallet, not a bank balance.
  • Not transferable to another person or account.
  • Not withdrawable, not redeemable for cash, and not sendable to a bank account.
  • Not usable anywhere except with E2.

Buying and using them

Top up from My E2. Credits are added once your payment is confirmed by the bank or card network. When you pay for an order with credits, the amount is deducted at that moment and your order proceeds exactly as any other paid order.

Refunds

If E2 cannot complete an order paid with credits, the credits are returned to your E2 Credits balance under the refund policy. Credits themselves are not refunded to cash. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Orders under S$100 paid by card or PayNow are also refunded as E2 Credits rather than money; see the refund policy. Bought credits never expire. Credits are not refunded to cash.

Promotional credits

E2 sometimes gives credits away — through a promo code, or as a goodwill gesture. They spend exactly like credits you bought, with three differences:

  • They expire. The date is shown on your credits page from the moment they are added.
  • They are used first, so credits you paid for are never spent while a promotional balance is sitting there about to expire.
  • They are never refunded in cash and are not transferable. Unused promotional credits may be withdrawn if a code is used abusively — for example claiming the same offer through several accounts.

A promo code can be claimed once per My E2 account unless the offer says otherwise, and only while that offer is open. If E2 cannot complete an order you paid for with promotional credits, they come back as promotional credits; if they had expired in the meantime, you get a fresh 14 days to use them.

Expiry

Credits you bought do not expire. If that ever changes, you will be told in advance and it will not apply to credits already bought. Promotional credits do expire — the date is always shown next to your balance.

Account

Credits belong to the verified email address of the My E2 account that bought them. Keep that sign-in to yourself; E2 cannot move credits between accounts.
